Applicants must have an active level 3 or 4 Texas private security license in good standing. Applicants must have or be willing to obtain CPI Restraint training, CPR/AED/First-Aid and Stop the Bleed certification. Shifts will last for 10 hours each day every Monday through Thursday throughout the school year. Some Fridays may be required for training with the school district or extra-curricular activity coverage. Overtime and additional work hours available occasionally for assigned campus and for other company sites. Uniform shirts, jackets and plate carrier with corresponding patches are provided, however, candidate must provide their own firearm, armor plates (soft ), duty gear and attire (black tactical style pants, black undershirt, and black duty boots) . Applicant must have a working smart phone and their own reliable transportation.

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Under general supervision, the purpose of this position is to protect and maintain a safe and secure environment for educators and students, investigate and take appropriate action related to incidents occurring on campus, and serve as a safety monitor, as well as be able to calmly mediate issues to prevent any potential conflict from escalating.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Investigate and appropriately document allegations of incidents occurring on or within the campus per school/company policies and procedures Monitors campus and works with law enforcement, school officials, and the local community to design crime prevention strategies Establishes and maintains a close partnership with school administrators in order to provide for a safe school environment Assist school administrators in emergency crisis planning and implementation of safety and security measures
