Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. Duties Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security. Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, taking appropriate action as needed. Conduct regular inspections of premises and equipment to identify potential security risks. Utilize surveillance equipment such as CCTV to monitor activities and prevent loss or theft. Enforce rules and regulations, ensuring compliance with company policies. Provide first aid and CPR assistance when necessary, maintaining a calm demeanor in stressful situations. Document incidents and prepare reports for management review. Collaborate with law enforcement when required and assist in investigations as necessary. Engage in conflict management strategies to de-escalate potential issues. Requirements Proven experience in security or law enforcement is preferred. Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and surveillance systems (CCTV). Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain composed under pressure. A militarized background or training is a plus but not mandatory. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
