Fire Watch Security Officer Needed for Apartment Complex Job Summary Join our dedicated security team as a Fire Watch Security Officer at a vibrant apartment community! Duties Conduct regular patrols of the apartment complex to identify potential fire hazards or safety issues Monitor access control systems to regulate entry and exit of residents, visitors, and contractors Perform surveillance to maintain constant awareness of the premises Respond promptly to emergency situations, including fire alarms or medical emergencies, following established protocols Write detailed incident reports documenting observations, incidents, and actions taken during shifts Assist in performing background checks for new residents or vendors as part of security screening procedures Support law enforcement and emergency responders during incidents or investigations as needed Qualifications Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable Knowledge of surveillance systems and emergency response procedures Certification in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, and Taser use preferred Ability to perform manual handling tasks and heavy lifting safely when required Strong conflict de-escalation and conflict management skills to handle difficult situations professionally Excellent customer service skills with a friendly yet vigilant demeanor Familiarity with fire safety protocols, heavy lifting techniques, and compliance with security regulations Join us in creating a safe haven for our residents!
