2 Officers Position Summary Standing Stone is seeking two professional and dependable Public Safety Officers to provide a visible security presence at a high-volume restaurant that experiences a large number of high-school-age customers during afternoon hours. The primary purpose of this position is to provide a visual and audible deterrent , maintain a safe and orderly environment, and address disruptive or inappropriate behavior before it escalates. The ideal candidate will be confident, professional, observant, and comfortable dealing with groups of teenagers who may be challenging, disrespectful, or resistant to authority. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Maintain a highly visible security presence throughout the restaurant and surrounding assigned areas. Serve as a visual deterrent to fighting, theft, vandalism, disruptive behavior, and other inappropriate activity. Use a confident and professional audible presence to gain compliance and discourage misconduct. Monitor customer activity and identify potential problems before they escalate. Address groups or individuals who are being disruptive, belligerent, disrespectful, or refusing to follow restaurant rules. Provide clear and professional verbal direction when customers are violating policies or creating a disturbance. Respond to incidents involving fights, attempted fights, theft, vandalism, or other unsafe behavior. Assist restaurant management with maintaining a safe and orderly environment. Direct individuals who are asked to leave the property to do so in a calm and professional manner. Monitor entrances, exits, dining areas, and other assigned areas as directed. Report suspicious, concerning, or unauthorized activity to restaurant management and/or the appropriate authorities. Use de-escalation and professional communication whenever possible. Contact law enforcement or emergency services when necessary. Complete incident reports and communicate significant incidents to the appropriate supervisor. Follow all company, restaurant, and post-specific policies and procedures. Position Expectations This position requires someone who is comfortable interacting with difficult and sometimes belligerent teenagers . Many customers may be high-school age and may not respond positively to authority. Officers are expected to remain calm, professional, and respectful while being firm and consistent in enforcing restaurant policies . The goal of the position is to prevent incidents through a strong security presence, active observation, communication, and early intervention. The officer's role is not to physically confront customers. Officers should use verbal direction and de-escalation whenever possible and request assistance from management or law enforcement when a situation exceeds the officer's authority or becomes unsafe. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is confident, alert, patient, professional, and comfortable taking control of difficult situations through communication and presence . This position is best suited for someone who can establish authority without unnecessarily escalating a situation and who understands that the primary objective is to keep the restaurant safe, prevent disturbances, and ensure customers follow the establishment's rules.

Applicants must have:

• Reliable transportation.
• The ability and desire to always be on time.
• Ability to stay alert through the entire shift.
• A smart phone and ability to use different apps for documentation.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Excellent communication, writing and reading skills.
• The ability to listen to directives, carry out tasks as assigned and report when the job is completed.
• Assisting emergency responders when they come on site as needed/directed.
• The ability and enjoy to walk/stand for at least 8 hours.
• Ability to lift 70 pounds.
• Must be professionally groomed at all times (neatly pressed/clean clothes, hair neatly tied back or cut to a length that cannot be grabbed, facial hair trimmed to face or shaved, no long fingernails (past finger tips), no jewelry except wedding bands).

Prohibited on the job:

• Ear buds/headphones that inhibit the ability of the employee to be fully aware of their surroundings.
• Vaping/smoking/chewing tobacco while on shift.

Pay:

From $17.25 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 20.0 per week
