Job Summary:
HQ Aero is currently recruiting for
STRUCTURES TECHNICIANS
in
HOT SPRINGS, AR.
Responsibilities:
As a Structures Technician, you will be required to: Remove / install aircraft components as required. Fabricate and or modify structural modifications on aircraft parts. Perform minor structural repairs on composite components either attached or detached. Assist in conducting hidden damage inspection of aircraft structures and aircraft component repair. Assist with complex structural repairs either on or off aircraft. Perform mechanical / electrical removals and installations as required. Inspect confined areas of airframe and assist in providing time estimates as required. Adhere to general work rules and company policies and procedures applicable to work area and job functions.
Qualifications, Experience & Requirements:
Airframe license preferred. Minimum of 5 years of structural sheet metal repair / modification experience or substantiated similar experience. Airbus and Boeing experience strongly preferred. Completed Sheet metal A/C Tech school or equivalent Training. Able to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings. Ability to effectively communicate (verbal & written) aircraft status. Demonstrated ability to train other employees is preferred. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Standard Aviation Tool Kit required. Criminal Background Check & Compliant to FAA Drug and Alcohol screening checks are mandatory.

Physical Demands:
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, Position requires frequent walking, standing and/or climbing.
Work Environment:
Ability to work in confined spaces. FAR Part 145 aircraft maintenance in a hangar and ramp environment.
