Engine Shop Technician

Job Description

Summary As an Engine Shop Technician, you will be integral to maintaining the performance and safety of aviation components by ensuring precise removal, installation, and repair of modules. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, your role requires strong mechanical knowledge and aviation maintenance skills, alongside experience with assembly and repairs. You will utilize your expertise as well as your familiarity with Federal Aviation Regulations, to uphold safety standards. Your ability to analyze and troubleshoot issues will be essential in delivering high-quality service within a manufacturing facility environment. We currently work on Rolls Royce RB211-535 and
IAE V2500 A1/A5
engines. Must be knowledgeable in turbine engine module removal, repairs and installation. Experienced in disassembling and assembling modules and mini modules. Experienced in completing repairs (working with polysulfide and filler, paint touch-ups, helicoil replacement, panel replacement, etc.) Experienced in tagging parts that are removed. Experienced in dimensional requirements for module installation. Preferred if the candidate has a Powerplant Certificate. Must be a team player, and able to work overtime as needed. Must be detail oriented. Must be able to work in a fast paced detail driven environment. Must be familiar with and able to document maintenance activity in accordance with current Repair Station requirements and Federal Aviation Regulations. Must be competent in the research including FAA AD's and current manufacturer's maintenance manuals. Must be compliant to OSHA safety standards and company safety policies.
