Olathe, KS Pay:
$35-$40+/hour, based on experience

Immediately Avionics Technician - Aircraft Troubleshooting & Maintenance We are seeking an experienced Avionics Technician to join an established aviation maintenance team in Olathe, Kansas . This is a hands-on position focused primarily on avionics troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair , rather than heavy installation or bench work. The ideal candidate is someone who is comfortable working directly on aircraft, diagnosing electrical and avionics issues, tracing faults, and determining the appropriate corrective action. Experience with Garmin avionics and/or working within Part 135 or Part 145 operations is highly beneficial. Aircraft Technicians may work on a variety of business and general aviation aircraft, including: Pilatus Piper Citation Responsibilities Troubleshoot and diagnose aircraft avionics and electrical system discrepancies Identify faults using wiring diagrams, schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic equipment Perform avionics system testing, repair, and component replacement Troubleshoot communication, navigation, instrumentation, and related aircraft systems Perform operational checks following maintenance and repairs Assist with avionics upgrades and installations as needed, although the primary focus of this role is troubleshooting and repair Accurately document maintenance and corrective actions Perform work in accordance with applicable FAA regulations, maintenance procedures, and company standards Coordinate with maintenance technicians and other team members to resolve aircraft discrepancies efficiently Preferred Experience Previous aircraft avionics troubleshooting experience Strong electrical and avionics diagnostic skills Experience with Garmin avionics systems is highly desirable Previous Part 135 and/or Part 145 experience is beneficial Experience working on Pilatus, Piper, and/or Citation aircraft is a plus Ability to read and interpret aircraft wiring diagrams and technical documentation Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot problems independently Compensation $35-$40+ per hour Why Consider This Opportunity?
