Job Description

Duties Conduct routine and non-routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on aircraft airframes, engines, avionics, and mechanical systems in accordance with FAA regulations and company policies. Perform root cause analysis on mechanical or electrical failures to identify underlying problems and implement corrective actions. Utilize specialized industrial tools including torque wrenches, power tools, soldering equipment, calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring instruments for precise repairs and fabrication. Complete detailed documentation of maintenance activities within CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) Perform aircraft servicing, component replacements, sheet metal fabrication, welding, soldering, and electrical troubleshooting as needed. Adhere strictly to Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), and company safety protocols during all maintenance procedures. Skills Extensive experience with aircraft maintenance including airframe repair, engine servicing, avionics troubleshooting, and mechanical systems repair. Strong electrical experience with the ability to diagnose electrical faults using multimeters such as ammeters and ohmmeters. Skilled in using hand tools such as torque wrenches, power tools, soldering irons, calipers, micrometers, and specialized industrial equipment for precise assembly or repair work. Experience with manufacturing processes related to sheet metal work and fabrication techniques. Familiarity with aviation maintenance facilities operations including flight line support and equipment repair. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while handling large components or equipment using appropriate industrial tools. Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on engineering analysis to identify root causes of mechanical or electrical issues efficiently. Excellent understanding of FAA regulations (FARs).
