$29-$38/hr Updated 08/27/2026 Job Description Overview $29-$38/hr Job Summary Mustang Aviation is seeking a full-time A&P Aircraft Mechanic to join our maintenance team in Pierre, South Dakota. This is a hands-on position supporting a diverse mix of general aviation, piston, turbine, King Air, and Part 135 aircraft. Responsibilities include scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, inspections, repairs, and servicing, as well as maintaining accurate aircraft records and work orders. The position will work closely with our Director of Maintenance and other technicians to ensure that aircraft are maintained safely and efficiently, in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer guidance, ADs, service bulletins, and company procedures. Mustang Aviation offers a bright, clean, climate-controlled maintenance facility with painted floors, quality equipment, and a professional work environment. Requirements FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate required Inspection Authorization (IA) preferred General aviation maintenance experience required King Air, turbine, and/or Part 135 maintenance experience preferred Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to read and properly utilize maintenance manuals, technical publications, wiring diagrams, ADs, and service information Strong attention to detail and accurate maintenance recordkeeping Valid driver's license Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and professionalism Job and company information not to be copied, shared, scraped, or otherwise disseminated without explicit consent of JSfirm, LLC.
