$30-$55/hr Updated 08/24/2026 Job Description Overview $30-$55/hr Job Summary AOG Resources is seeking Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Technicians with 5+ years of MRO experience to perform turbine engine troubleshooting, heavy airframe inspections, and system repairs across jet, turboprop, and piston fleets in Gallatin, TN. Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technician (A&P) with 5+ years of experience across jet, turboprop, and piston aircraft to join our MRO team in Gallatin, TN. In this role, you will perform intermediate and heavy maintenance inspections, turbine engine troubleshooting, structural repairs, and system overhauls across a diverse corporate fleet. You will maintain strict FAA Part 145 regulatory compliance and safety standards to keep aircraft operating reliably for private charter and corporate aircraft owners. Core Responsibilities
Aircraft & Engine Servicing:
Perform intermediate to heavy maintenance, component changes, and structural repairs on airframe, powerplant, and propeller systems across diverse jet, turboprop, and piston platforms.
Troubleshooting & Inspections:
Execute turbine engine troubleshooting, routine C/D-level inspections, systems operational checks, and engine run-ups per manufacturer specifications.
Modifications & Service Bulletins:
Install service bulletins and modification kits on engines and airframes; utilize precision measuring tools (tensiometers, micrometers, pressure gauges) for accurate assembly.
FAA Documentation:
Accurately sign off on task cards, deferred maintenance, and technical logbook entries per FAA regulations. Calculate labor, parts, and purchase orders for client invoicing.
Tooling & Hangar Operations:
Safely operate all shop power tools and specialized equipment, maintaining tool calibration and cleanroom/hangar safety standards.
Team Collaboration:
Share technical knowledge across aircraft types and mentor junior mechanics or apprentices on maintenance best practices. Compensation & Pay Premiums
Base Pay:
$30.00 - $55.00 / hour (based on experience).
Overtime:
Paid for all hours worked over 40 per week.
Second Shift Differential:
+$6.00 / hour shift premium.
AOG Travel Differential:
+$2.00 / hour travel premium on AOG assignments. Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
License:
Active FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate required.
Experience:
5+ years of maintenance experience on jet, turboprop, and piston aircraft in an MRO or Part 145 environment.
Tools:
Must possess a personal set of standard aviation hand tools suitable for jet and turboprop maintenance.
Compliance & Logistics:
Must hold a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in a customer-service-focused MRO working directly on client-owned corporate aircraft. Experience with Embraer jet platforms and advanced turbine engine troubleshooting. Familiarity with computerized maintenance tracking systems. Physical Requirements & Working Conditions On-site position requiring prolonged standing, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in tight structural spaces or elevated heights. Ability to safely lift, position, and maneuver aircraft components and equipment. Flexibility for occasional travel to support AOG (Aircraft On Ground) maintenance assignments at alternate locations.
