JOB DESCRIPTION
Airport Service Representative / Line Service Technician performs duties at the Sulphur Springs Municipal Airport. Provide excellent customer service to tenant and transient aircraft operators in person, by Unicom radio, and by phone. Perform services such as aircraft direction and mooring and aircraft fueling. Communicate, using Unicom radio, with incoming/outgoing aircraft, and conduct retail sales, keeping accurate records of same as required. Operate aircraft refueling trucks, perform quality control fuel testing, maintain fuel inventory control, maintain fuel storage area operations, perform miscellaneous ground service duties and miscellaneous ground equipment maintenance, and maintain secure aircraft operating areas and terminal facilities. Perform housekeeping duties inside terminal as well as grounds maintenance outside terminal and on airport property. Successful applicant will be required to pass proficiency tests upon completion of Line Service Training Programs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Must be responsibly sensitive to citizen and customer comments and complaints responding with the utmost courtesy and respect using only the best customer service practices and must work as part of a team to maintain excellent customer service relations.
Must always observe all airport procedures, rules and regulations; perform related duties as outlined in the Airport Operations Manual and as defined and directed by the assigned supervisor.
Must be able to understand and efficiently learn all related procedures for communicating specific airport information by Unicom radio and by phone.
Must be able to understand and efficiently learn all related procedures for aircraft refueling, including quality control fuel testing, maintaining fuel inventory control, and maintaining fuel storage area operations.
Additional duties as defined and directed by the assigned supervisor.
Must perform all duties in a safe and responsible manner.
Complete Annual NATA training and other training as assigned.
