Aircraft Painter Full-Time | On-Site | Kenmore, WA | $26 - $38 per hour Kenmore Air is seeking a skilled Aircraft Painter to join our maintenance and restoration team. This is a hands-on role requiring precision, craftsmanship, and a commitment to quality in every coat. If you take pride in a perfect finish and want to work on iconic aircraft in a one-of-a-kind Pacific Northwest setting, this is your role. What You Will Do Prepare aircraft surfaces for painting including cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming Apply paint, coatings, and finishes to aircraft exteriors and interior components using spray equipment and other application methods Mix, match, and blend paints and coatings to specification Inspect finished work for quality, coverage, and compliance with drawings and customer requirements Ensure all work is performed in compliance with FAA regulations and company safety standards Document work performed in accordance with company and regulatory requirements Maintain spray equipment and paint shop in clean, safe working order What You Must Bring Minimum 2 years of experience in aircraft, automotive, or industrial painting Proficiency with spray equipment and surface preparation techniques Knowledge of paint mixing, application, and finishing methods Familiarity with safety protocols including proper use of PPE, ventilation requirements, and hazardous materials handling Strong attention to detail and quality of finish Ability to read and interpret work orders and technical drawings Nice to Have Prior experience in aircraft painting or aviation MRO environment Knowledge of FAA-approved coatings and materials Experience with custom paint schemes, graphics, or detailing Why Join Us Kenmore Air is one of the most storied aviation companies in the Pacific Northwest.
