Low Voltage Security Technician About Guardian Integrators Guardian Integrators is a low voltage electrical contractor licensed in Alabama, Florida, and Mississippi. We install and service CCTV, access control, gates, and network cabling systems for commercial, industrial, general contractor, electrical contractor, and military facility customers. We are a small company with real field work, direct communication, and room to grow. We perform our own takeoffs, employ our own technicians, and work with systems including Bosch, Avigilon/Motorola, and Lenel/Honeywell. We do not directly install or service fire alarm systems. The Role We are hiring a Low Voltage Security Technician to help install, service, test, and support security and network cabling systems. This is a field-based position. The right person may already have experience in other low voltage or electrical work including car stereos or residential projects. What You'll Do Install and service CCTV, access control, gates, and network cabling systems Pull, terminate, label, and test copper and fiber cable Install cameras, card readers, door hardware, panels, power supplies, network devices, and related equipment Read basic drawings, plans, wiring diagrams, and device schedules Assist with system startup, checkout, troubleshooting, and closeout Work safely and professionally on commercial, industrial, construction, and military job sites Communicate clearly with project managers, customers, contractors, and other technicians Help identify job issues early, including missing information, material needs, delays, or changes in scope Maintain clean, organized, and professional work What We're Looking For Experience in low voltage, security, structured cabling, electrical, gates, access control, cameras, or similar field work Good mechanical and electrical aptitude Ability to use common hand tools and power tools Ability to work from drawings, instructions, and field direction Willingness to learn new systems and improve technical skills Dependable, professional, and able to work with a small team Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to travel locally to job sites across the Gulf Coast region Preferred Experience 1-3 years of low voltage, security, electrical, or field service experience Experience with CCTV, access control, gates, structured cabling, or fiber Experience working on commercial construction sites Familiarity with Bosch, Avigilon/Motorola, Lenel/Honeywell, or similar systems Our Values At Guardian Integrators, we care about how the work gets done.
