Job Description

Security Systems Service Technician Nationwide Security Corporation in Branford, CT is looking for experienced and licensed Security Systems Technicians as a permanently embedded service tech at a customer site. NSC has developed from a mainly small business and residential alarm company to and almost exclusively commercial integration firm, installing, servicing, and monitoring access control, video management, intrusion, fire, turnstile, and RFID asset tag systems. NSC specializes in the government, healthcare, educational, cultural property, and utilities vertical markets. The position of Security Systems Technician will consist of service and inspections for all types of electronic security devices to include but not limited to access control systems, video camera systems, intercom, and intrusion systems.

Requirements:

3+ years of field service experience Functional and technical knowledge and skills to perform the job Sound judgment Above average written and verbal communication skills Quick learner with adaptability skills Acceptable background check

Knowledge of:

Intrusion Detection Access Control IP based CCTV Intercom Systems Use of power tools Use of diagnostic equipment

Licenses/Certifications:

L5, L6, C5, C6, E1, or E2 license required Access Control knowledge•AMAG preferred CCTV knowledge•AXIS Cameras and Milestone VMS preferred DMP Intrusion Detection knowledge A plus Programming/Networking knowledge A plus

Candidates:

Must be a US Citizen Must possess a clean criminal record and can pass background checks
