live in Jacksonville, FL or within a 30 minute drive to the Jacksonville Airport area (32218). We do not pay to relocate.

•Cook Electrical, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electronic Security Installation Technician in the Jacksonville Florida area to support our fast-growing Security division. Typical Job Hours:

M-F @ 7:00am - 4:00pm EST (with opportunities for OT) Installing physical security systems/platforms, including Access Control Systems, CCTV, Intrusion Detection and Communications. Handling service calls, including scheduled maintenance, emergency, and after-hours requests. Working with trades and subcontractors assigned to projects. Working on large enterprise access control and video management projects.

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience servicing electronic security systems and platforms (Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion/Burglar, etc.) The proven ability to troubleshoot issues and identify solutions. Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective parts and debug systems. Solid writing and oral communication skills. Valid/Clean Driver's License - REQUIRED Pass a Background & Drug Screening -

REQUIRED Environment and Working Conditions:

The physical environment requires the employee to work inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to frequently stand, walk, climb; utilize personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to potentially hazardous materials; lift (overhead, waist level) from the floor, bending; frequently work in outdoor weather conditions, frequently move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, ascend/descend a ladder (12ft), & operate a motor vehicle.
