Fire Sprinkler Designer - Boise, ID Join a Growing Regional Fire Protection Company! Why State Fire? With more than 300 trained and licensed team members, we provide complete fire protection services including design, installation, inspection, and maintenance. Our success is built on reliable service, technical expertise, and long-term partnerships with our customers. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Designer to join our in-house team in Boise. This role is responsible for preparing detailed design and layout drawings for fire sprinkler systems in commercial, industrial, and residential projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects from start to finish in collaboration with our project managers and field teams. Responsibilities Design fire sprinkler systems in compliance with NFPA standards, building codes, and local requirements Prepare hydraulic calculations, material lists, and fabrication drawings using AutoCAD or Revit Review project specifications, submittals, and design criteria with project managers and clients Coordinate with contractors, architects, and engineers to ensure design accuracy and constructability Support field installation teams by providing clarifications and design revisions as needed Maintain organized project files and documentation for submittals and approvals Participate in design review meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
