Position Summary:

Put your maintenance and repair skills to good use at Vallen as a Lead Service Technician focused on Life Safety Services in the Vallen Safety Services Group. In this position, you will install and/or inspect, test, and maintain (ITM) life safety systems and equipment for established customers on a scheduled basis.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide quality of service to our customers. Assist assigned HTS technicians with proper training in Vallen standard operating procedures.\nProviding customer service in the area of installation and/or ITM of Life Safety Systems. Including, but not limited to: Fire Extinguishers, Fire Alarm and Detection Systems, Gas Detection Systems, Foam Systems, Dry Chemical Systems, Clean Agent Systems, Special Hazard Systems and Water Based Systems.\nMay also have job coordination responsibilities in the absence of a Technician Lead if assigned by the supervisor/manager for specific jobs or customers.\nMay lead other technicians within area of expertise.\nMay be responsible for interacting with the customers to coordinate job activities.\nResponsible for ensuring all documentation associated with assigned tasks is filled out accurately, completely & turned in for proper invoicing.\nEnsures all required copies provided to the customer upon servicing equipment.\nKnowledgeable of all regulatory standards pertaining to assigned duties, i.e., State, OSHA, and NFPA regulations, etc.\nMay be responsible for Parts & Equipment requests for specific assigned jobs.\nMaintaining accurate inventories related to job and maintenance orders.\nAlways exhibit safe work practices.\nAssist shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders & distributing to sales associates for processing.\nMay include the use of company provided assets such as but not limited to: Company Vehicle, Inventory, Safety Equipment, Laptop, BR Scanner, Test Equipment, Tools, Radio, Cell Phone, Fuel Card and/or Credit Card.\nAssociates are required to maintain proper care of all assets as defined by Vallen policies.\nMay have immediate supervision over a tech service unit.

Job Qualifications:

Position Summary:
