  Spherion Staffing is hiring an experienced Electronic Access Control Installer for a building materials company in Wichita Falls, TX!

This role is essential in ensuring the security and integrity of customers needs through effective access control measures. Candidates must possess a technical background, with experience in access control systems installation and maintenance. Typical work schedule is Monday-Friday 7AM

• 4PM, but must have availability to work overtime and weekends for installation jobs.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot access control systems, including Card Readers, Electronic hardware and Video Monitoring Systems
• Conduct field service visits to assess and resolve security system issues.
• Communicate with clients to provide technical support and guidance on access control solutions
• Install cabling for security systems to ensure proper functionality.
• Perform regular inspections of electrical components related to access control systems.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and service calls via work orders
• Install Mechanical doors and hardware
• Travelling required at times

• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills for effective telecommunication with clients and team members.
• Experience with IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems) is beneficial.

Education:

High School Experience:

1-4 years

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in access control systems installation and maintenance
• Familiarity with computer hardware and networking principles
• Understanding of cabling practices for security installations.
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed for field service operations.
• Valid Drivers License with a clean driving record.
