Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented PPF / Wrap Installer to join our dynamic automotive customization team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing paint protection film (PPF) and vehicle wraps with precision and care, ensuring a flawless finish that exceeds customer expectations. Responsibilities Prepare vehicle surfaces through thorough cleaning, sanding, masking, and surface preparation to ensure optimal adhesion of PPF and wraps Measure and cut films accurately to fit various vehicle contours and specifications using hand tools and power tools Apply paint protection film (PPF) with attention to detail, ensuring bubble-free installation and seamless edges Install vehicle wraps using specialized techniques such as surface preparation masking, airless paint spraying, and conventional spraying methods for optimal results Use automotive buffing and polishing tools to refine surfaces post-installation for a smooth, high-quality finish Conduct auto body repairs or touch-ups as needed before wrap application to maintain vehicle integrity Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols including respiratory protection when handling paints or adhesives Assist with auto restoration projects by providing expert surface preparation, sanding, and painting services as required Communicate effectively with customers regarding the installation process, timelines, and aftercare instructions Requirements Proven experience in dealership or automotive shop environments with a focus on vehicle wrapping or auto body repair Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools, grinders, sanders, and power tools Skilled in welding, auto painting, buffing, detailing, and surface preparation techniques such as masking and sanding Familiarity with automotive buffing machines, spray guns (including airless paint spraying), grinders, and auto glass installation processes Knowledge of automotive paints, coatings, and surface finishing products including paints and primers Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly Experience with auto estimating or customer service is a plus but not required Mechanic experience or background in auto restoration is advantageous for understanding vehicle structures and surfaces Commitment to safety practices including the use of respiratory protection when working with paints or adhesives Join our team if you're passionate about automotive aesthetics and craftsmanship!
