The Estimator will be responsible for inspecting damaged vehicles, writing accurate repair estimates, and guiding customers through the repair process. This role is critical to delivering excellent customer service and ensuring efficient, profitable repairs. Responsibilities Inspect vehicles and assess collision damage Write accurate repair estimates using estimating software (CCC, Mitchell, Audatex, etc.) Communicate repair plans clearly with customers, technicians, and insurance adjusters Work directly with insurance companies to negotiate and supplement estimates Order parts and track repair progress as needed Ensure repairs comply with manufacturer and safety standards Maintain clear documentation and job files Provide exceptional customer service from intake through delivery Qualifications Previous experience as an auto body estimator or related role preferred Familiarity with estimating software (CCC and Mitchell) Strong knowledge of auto body repair processes and parts Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced shop environment Valid driver's license
