Auto Body Restoration Technician / Fabricator
Job Description
We are seeking a Restoration Auto Body Technician/ Fabricator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for restoring and customizing classic cars to their original beauty or beyond.
PAY DEPENDS ON EXPERIENCE
Key Responsibilities:
- Repairing and restoring the bodywork of classic cars to their original or customized specifications
- Fabricating metal panels to replace damaged or rusted sections of the car's body
- Installing, aligning, and adjusting body parts and panels to meet the car's original specifications
- Preparing surfaces for painting, including sanding, filling, and priming
- Applying paint and finishing touches to the car's body
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in auto body repair and restoration, with a focus on classic cars preferred
- Proficiency in metalworking, welding, and fabrication techniques
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
