In this role, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their original condition through expert repair techniques, structural realignment, and cosmetic refinishing. Your expertise will help ensure our customers receive top-quality service, and your hands-on skills will contribute to maintaining the highest standards of automotive repair. Duties Perform automotive structural repairs, including frame straightening and sheet metal work using welding repair techniques such as MIG welding and soldering. Conduct auto body repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and sheet metal fabrication using various hand tools and power tools. Utilize automotive welding equipment for fabrication, repair, and assembly of vehicle components with precision. Apply automotive cosmetic repair techniques such as sanding, auto painting with airless paint spraying equipment, and automotive body refinishing to restore vehicles' appearance. Install automotive parts including auto glass, bumpers, trim pieces, and perform auto parts installation with attention to detail. Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks such as auto restoration projects, detailing, and ensuring all repairs meet safety and quality standards. Collaborate with team members on auto estimating, customer service interactions, and ensure timely completion of repairs while adhering to safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience working as an automotive body technician or in a similar role within a dealership or collision center environment. Strong knowledge of automotive structural repair, auto body repair, and sheet metal fabrication techniques. Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, welding repair methods, and fabrication repair techniques. Familiarity with automotive welding equipment, auto painting tools including airless paint sprayers, sanding tools, and finishing supplies. Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems for effective repairs and auto restoration projects. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting equipment safely and efficiently. Experience with auto glass installation, automotive parts installation, auto estimating processes, and basic mechanic skills is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about repair processes and timelines.
