JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Repair defects\nPerform presanding, body filler, roll prime, sanding, and metal finishing, as needed\nLead / perform lean events\nLearn and retain skills and practices needed to complete duties in assigned area\nWear air or form fitting respirators for extended amounts of time\nWork off ground-level, on ladders and lifts, as needed\nRead and follow detailed operator instructions, as required by a particular area Understand, and be able to articulate, the body shop and paint processes\nSelf-check work and inspect prior processes\nUse basic hand, electric, cordless, and pneumatic tools, as required\nMeet production goals\nMaintain a clean and safe work area\nInitiate process improvements\nSupport 5S in work area\nCommunicate with manufacturing and other cross-functional teams (engineering, materials, purchasing, sales, etcetera) to resolve issues\nWork in close proximity with customer, as needed\nSolve complex problems with minimal assistance
