In this role, you will be responsible for performing comprehensive automotive body repairs, refinishing, and painting to restore vehicles to their original condition. Your expertise in auto body repair, welding, fabrication, and cosmetic finishing will ensure our customers receive top-quality service. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about automotive restoration and structural repair, with a focus on delivering exceptional results efficiently and safely. Duties Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, sheet metal work, and structural repairs using welding repair techniques such as MIG welding and automotive welding equipment Fabricate and modify vehicle parts utilizing fabrication repair techniques, hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal skills Conduct auto painting and refinishing using automotive body refinishing techniques to achieve a smooth, high-quality finish Use sanding tools and automotive cosmetic repair methods to prepare surfaces for painting and detailing Install automotive parts such as auto glass, trim, bumpers, and other components with precision and care Apply automotive structural repair methods including soldering, welding repair, and working with automotive parts installation to restore vehicle integrity Perform auto restoration projects by assessing damage, estimating repairs, and executing detailed repairs with mechanical knowledge and attention to detail Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety standards during heavy lifting and use of power tools Skills Proven dealership experience or extensive background in auto body repair and auto restoration Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, welding repair, and automotive welding equipment Strong fabrication skills including sheet metal work and fabrication repair techniques Mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance, automotive parts installation, and general automotive repair processes Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and detailing equipment for cosmetic repairs Experience with auto painting, automotive body refinishing, auto glass replacement, and automotive cosmetic repair techniques Ability to work efficiently as part of an automotive body technician team while maintaining high standards of quality Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively about repairs and estimates Knowledge of auto estimating procedures is a plus but not required Join us if you're ready to bring your expertise in auto body work to a vibrant team dedicated to excellence!
