Responsibilities:
Thoroughly examine each vehicle for damages and participate in developing a proper repair plan for each vehicle. Thoroughly disassemble, repair, and reassemble each vehicle and/or equipment according to OEM specification and company standards. Can properly fill depressions with body filler and ensure a quality repair. Bolt or weld replacement parts in position using power tools and welding equipment. File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces, using power tools and hand tools. Ability to restore damaged metal frames and body sections back to original specifications. Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes. Must follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report all accidents/incidents to a manager or supervisor. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
2+ years of collision repair experience in completed light to heavy repairs. Ability to make cosmetic repairs. Forklift experience beneficial, but not required. Auto Body Certification beneficial but not required. Effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills required. Ability to work on multiple vehicles and/or equipment at a time and deliver high quality work. Ability to adapt to and work effectively within a constantly changing environment. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills required.
