work? If the answer is YES, then we would love to hear from you. We are looking for the right individual to join our dedicated, community focused team in our Auto Body Repair shop. The Auto Body / Collision Repair Technician is responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicle bodies to manufacturer specifications. This role involves assessing damage, performing structural and cosmetic repairs, and ensuring vehicles meet safety and quality standards before returning to customers. Key Responsibilities Inspect vehicles to assess collision damage and determine repair requirements Repair dents, scratches, and structural damage to vehicle bodies. Replace or repair damaged panels, bumpers, and other components Use welding and metalworking equipment to restore vehicle structure Prepare surfaces for refinishing, including sanding, grinding, and applying fillers Remove and reinstall trim, moldings, and mechanical components as needed for repairs Ensure repairs meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards Maintain a clean and safe work environment Communicate repair progress and additional damage findings to supervisors or estimators Follow all shop safety procedures and proper use of tools and equipment Required Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or GED (technical training preferred) Experience in auto body repair, collision repair, or related automotive field Knowledge of welding and body repair techniques Ability to read repair estimates and follow manufacturer repair procedures Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship Ability to operate body shop tools and equipment safely Good problem-solving and time-management skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with automotive paint systems, spray guns, and refinishing techniques. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Frequent standing, bending, and reaching Ability to work in a shop environment with noise, dust, and fumes
Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
