Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Collision Repair Technician and become a vital part of restoring vehicles to their original condition with precision and expertise. In this role, you will perform comprehensive collision repairs, including structural, cosmetic, and mechanical work, ensuring each vehicle meets the highest standards of safety and quality. Your skills in automotive body repair, welding, fabrication, and detailing will directly contribute to delivering exceptional service and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Perform automotive structural repairs using advanced welding techniques such as MIG welding, soldering, and automotive welding equipment to restore vehicle frames and panels. Conduct auto body repairs including dent removal, sheet metal work, auto restoration, and automotive cosmetic repair to achieve seamless finishes. Utilize hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and paint spraying equipment for precise vehicle refinishing and detailing. Install automotive parts such as bumpers, trim pieces, and other components with attention to fitment and safety standards. Apply fabrication repair techniques to create custom parts or modify existing components for optimal vehicle performance. Execute auto painting and automotive body refinishing tasks to restore vehicles' appearance while maintaining quality control. Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks as needed, including heavy lifting and mechanical repairs that require mechanical knowledge or mechanic experience. Collaborate with team members on auto estimating processes to ensure accurate assessments of repair scope and costs. Maintain a clean, organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols during all repair procedures. Experience Proven experience or extensive background working as an automotive body technician. Hands-on experience with MIG welding, fabrication repair techniques, and automotive welding equipment. Strong mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance, auto restoration, and automotive structural repair. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, auto painting equipment, and automotive parts installation tools. Familiarity auto body refinishing processes, auto estimating procedures, and automotive cosmetic repair techniques. Experience working with sheet metal fabrication repair techniques for precise structural work. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during all phases of collision repair. $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
