Overview We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Collision Repair Technician to join our dynamic team. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced automotive repair environment, specializing in collision repair, auto painting, and restoration. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in auto body repair, welding, and vehicle maintenance, with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service. Experience with dealership repairs, auto estimating, and auto glass installation is a plus. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive collision repairs including dent removal, sheet metal work, and frame straightening Conduct auto painting using airless paint spraying techniques and ensure flawless finishes Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and various power tools for fabrication and assembly tasks Repair or replace auto glass components with precision and care Conduct vehicle inspections to assess damage and determine repair strategies Perform vehicle maintenance tasks such as mechanical repairs and detailing as needed Use hand tools and fabrication equipment to modify or restore vehicle parts Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to safety standards Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair estimates and progress updates Assist in auto restoration projects requiring specialized skills in sheet metal work and welding Qualifications Proven experience in auto body repair, collision repair, or related automotive fields; dealership experience is preferred Proficiency with MIG welding, welding, soldering, and fabrication techniques Strong mechanical knowledge including vehicle maintenance and automotive repair procedures Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, auto painting equipment, and auto glass installation tools Knowledge of auto estimating processes and customer service best practices is advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work on vehicles of various sizes and weights Familiarity with auto restoration projects involving sheet metal work and auto painting techniques Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship Valid driver's license with good driving record required; with ability to operate various automotive repair equipment confidently Join our team as an Auto Body Collision Repair Technician where your expertise will directly contribute to restoring vehicles to their optimal condition while providing outstanding service to our customers.
