Duties Prepare vehicle surfaces through sanding, masking, and surface cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion Apply primers, paints, coatings, and clear finishes using conventional spray guns and airless paint sprayers with precision and consistency Perform surface repairs including dent filling, sanding, and buffing to achieve a smooth, flawless finish Operate power tools such as grinders, sanders, and buffing machines safely and effectively during refinishing processes Conduct auto glass replacements or repairs as needed to support comprehensive vehicle restoration Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols including respiratory protection measures Assist with auto body repairs by welding or using hand tools for minor structural fixes when necessary Experience Proven dealership or automotive shop experience as an Auto Body Paint Technician or similar role Hands-on experience with automotive buffing, painting, coating spray guns, and surface preparation techniques Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and auto body repair processes Familiarity with automotive surface preparation methods including masking and sanding techniques Skilled in the use of hand tools, grinders, power tools, and auto estimating software is a plus Knowledge of auto restoration projects and heavy lifting procedures for larger vehicles or parts Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients regarding repair progress and quality standards Embark on a rewarding career where your craftsmanship makes a real difference!
