Responsibilities Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply primer, base coats, clear coats, and touch-up paint using conventional spray guns or airless paint spraying equipment Use surface preparation masking techniques to protect non-painted areas during the painting process Operate power tools such as grinders, sanders, and buffing machines to achieve smooth surfaces and high-quality finishes Perform auto body repairs including welding, dent removal, and panel alignment as needed before painting Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols including respiratory protection and proper handling of hazardous materials Conduct quality inspections on finished vehicles to ensure color match, finish consistency, and overall appearance meet company standards Experience Proven dealership experience or similar auto body repair background preferred Hands-on experience with auto painting techniques including conventional spraying and auto refinishing methods Knowledge of vehicle maintenance, auto glass replacement, and auto restoration processes is highly desirable Skilled in surface preparation, masking, buffing, and detailing to achieve a professional finish Familiarity with welding, mechanical knowledge, and the use of hand tools and power tools in automotive repair environments Experience with auto estimating systems and customer service is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Join our team if you're passionate about automotive artistry!
