Overview Join our dynamic team as an Auto Body Technician and play a vital role in restoring vehicles to their original condition with precision and expertise. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of automotive repair projects, utilizing advanced techniques and tools to deliver outstanding results. As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for repairing, refinishing, and restoring vehicles with a focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Perform automotive structural repairs, including frame straightening and sheet metal work, using welding repair techniques such as MIG welding and soldering. Conduct auto body repairs involving dent removal, panel replacement, and cosmetic refinishing to restore vehicles to factory standards. Utilize hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive welding equipment to execute precise repairs and fabrication tasks. Apply auto painting techniques, including auto body refinishing and airless paint spraying, ensuring smooth finishes and high-quality results. Install automotive parts such as auto glass, bumpers, trim pieces, and other components with attention to detail and safety standards. Perform vehicle maintenance tasks related to auto restoration, including sanding, detailing, and assembly of repaired parts. Collaborate with team members on complex projects requiring fabrication repair techniques and automotive parts installation while adhering to safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience working as an automotive body technician or in a similar auto repair role; dealership experience is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of automotive structural repair, sheet metal work, auto body repair, and cosmetic refinishing processes. Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, welding repair techniques, and the use of automotive welding equipment. Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive repair equipment. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repairs or parts installation. Familiarity with auto estimating software and basic mechanic experience is a plus but not required. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship in all aspects of auto restoration and cosmetic repair. Pay:
$20.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 120.0 per week
