Duties Perform automotive structural repairs using sheet metal fabrication, MIG welding, soldering, and automotive welding equipment to restore vehicle frames and bodies. Conduct auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, sanding, and automotive cosmetic repairs to achieve a flawless finish. Utilize hand tools and power tools for precise auto painting, auto glass installation, sanding, and detailing to enhance vehicle appearance. Apply auto restoration techniques such as working with automotive parts installation, assembly, and automotive parts repair to bring vehicles back to their original condition. Operate airless paint spraying equipment for high-quality automotive refinishing and auto body painting projects. Perform vehicle maintenance tasks related to collision repair, including heavy lifting and working with automotive structural components. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair processes and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the repair journey. Experience Previous dealership experience or work in an automotive collision center is highly preferred. Hands-on experience with MIG welding, soldering, fabrication repair techniques, and automotive welding equipment is essential. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems, parts installation, and vehicle maintenance is required. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and auto painting equipment for detailed cosmetic work. Familiarity with auto estimating processes and auto restoration projects adds value. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining high standards of quality in automotive structural repair and cosmetic finishing. Experience working as an automotive body technician or in related roles involving auto body repair, sheet metal work, or welding repair is highly advantageous.
