Job Summary Join our dynamic automotive team as an Auto Body Technician, where your expertise in vehicle repair and restoration will bring damaged vehicles back to their original condition with precision and care. Duties Perform automotive structural repairs using welding repair techniques such as MIG welding, soldering, and automotive welding equipment to restore vehicle frames and bodies. Conduct auto body repairs including dent removal, sheet metal work, sanding, and automotive cosmetic repair to achieve a flawless finish. Utilize hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and airless paint spraying equipment to prepare surfaces for painting and refinishing. Carry out auto painting and automotive body refinishing to enhance vehicle appearance and protect surfaces from future damage. Install automotive parts such as auto glass, bumpers, trim pieces, and other components with precision and attention to detail. Apply fabrication repair techniques for custom modifications or repairs involving sheet metal fabrication and assembly processes. Maintain a high standard of customer service by communicating repair progress clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the process. Assist with auto estimating and vehicle maintenance tasks when needed to support overall shop operations. Handle heavy lifting safely during parts replacement or structural repairs while adhering to safety protocols. Qualifications Proven experience working as an automotive body technician Strong knowledge of auto body repair techniques including welding repair, sheet metal work, sanding, and automotive cosmetic repairs. Skilled in MIG welding, soldering, fabrication repair techniques, and using automotive welding equipment. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, airless paint sprayers, and other relevant equipment. Familiarity with automotive structural repair standards and working as an automotive body technician in a fast-paced environment. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly about repair processes and timelines. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during complex repairs. Additional experience in auto estimating or mechanic work is a plus but not required.
