Overview Join our dynamic collision repair team as a Collision Center Manager, where you will lead a high-performing team dedicated to delivering exceptional vehicle restoration services. In this pivotal role, you'll oversee daily operations within the collision repair shop, ensuring efficient workflow, top-quality repairs, and outstanding customer satisfaction. Your expertise in automotive repair and leadership skills will drive the success of our center while maintaining strict safety standards and fostering a positive work environment. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of daily collision center operations, including workflow coordination, staffing, and resource allocation to maximize productivity. Oversee vehicle repair processes, ensuring repairs meet quality standards through detailed defect resolution root cause analysis and adherence to safety regulations. Supervise technicians and support staff, providing guidance on auto body repair, auto painting, auto glass replacement, and detailing tasks. Utilize computer-aided vehicle damage estimating software to accurately assess damages and prepare repair estimates. Ensure compliance with personal protective equipment (PPE) protocols and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all team members. Communicate effectively with clients regarding repair status, timelines, and any technical issues related to collision repairs or auto restoration projects. Maintain inventory of hand tools, power tools, paints, auto body parts (including aluminum and auto glass), and other essential supplies needed for efficient shop operations. Qualifications Proven dealership or collision repair shop experience with a strong background in automotive repair and collision damage restoration. Mechanical knowledge coupled with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and metal fabrication equipment. Familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures, auto body refinishing techniques, and automotive painting processes. Experience with computer-aided vehicle damage estimating software and defect root cause analysis methodologies. Knowledge of safety regulations related to heavy lifting, auto painting fumes, auto glass handling, and use of PPE. Strong communication skills for client interaction and team leadership; ability to explain technical issues clearly. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate various technical equipment efficiently. Basic math skills for estimating repairs accurately and managing shop budgets effectively. Pay:
$60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
