In this role, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their original condition through expert collision repair, structural realignment, and cosmetic refinishing. Your expertise in automotive structural repair, auto body repair, and welding techniques will ensure each vehicle is repaired safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, sheet metal work, and structural realignment using advanced fabrication and welding repair techniques. Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and automotive welding equipment to restore vehicle frames and panels with precision. Conduct automotive cosmetic repairs such as sanding, auto painting, auto body refinishing, and detailing to achieve a flawless finish. Use hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and airless paint spraying equipment to complete repairs efficiently. Install automotive parts including auto glass, trim pieces, and other components with attention to detail. Apply auto estimating skills to assess damage accurately and determine necessary repairs while maintaining quality standards. Assist in auto restoration projects by fabricating custom parts or repairing damaged sheet metal sections using fabrication repair techniques. Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications while providing excellent customer service throughout the process. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols during heavy lifting and use of power tools. Experience Proven experience working as an automotive body technician or in a similar auto repair role within a dealership or independent shop. Strong knowledge of automotive structural repair, auto body repair, and automotive cosmetic repair techniques. Hands-on experience with MIG welding, soldering, welding repair, and fabrication processes. Familiarity with automotive parts installation, auto painting, auto glass replacement, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Mechanical knowledge combined with experience in auto estimating and detailed auto restoration projects. Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, sanding equipment, and automotive welding equipment is essential. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients regarding repair processes and timelines.
