We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Commercial Truck Collision Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, repairing, and restoring commercial trucks to pre-accident condition. This role requires expertise in bodywork, frame repair, and a strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect and assess damaged commercial trucks to determine repair needs. Perform collision repairs, including bodywork, paint prep, mechanical, and fabrication. Utilize specialized tools and equipment for repairs, including welders, hydraulic jacks, plasma cutters, and oxy/fuel cutting tools. Ensure all repairs are completed to industry standards and manufacturer specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and regulations. Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding repair progress and any additional work required. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in collision repair techniques.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in collision repair is a plus. Proven experience as a collision technician, preferably with commercial vehicles. Proficiency in using collision repair tools and equipment. Strong understanding of vehicle structure and repair processes. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Why Work with Carolina International Trucks?
