  • Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and energetic Auto Body Technician to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition using advanced automotive structural repair techniques, auto body repair methods, and cosmetic refinishing skills. Your expertise in welding, fabrication, and vehicle maintenance will ensure high-quality results that exceed customer expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art automotive repair equipment and contribute to vehicle restoration projects that showcase your craftsmanship and mechanical knowledge. Duties Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and structural realignment using welding repair techniques such as MIG welding and soldering. Utilize fabrication skills to create custom sheet metal parts and repair damaged automotive structures with precision fabrication repair techniques. Conduct auto restoration projects by applying automotive welding equipment, sanding tools, airless paint spraying, and auto painting to achieve a flawless finish. Install automotive parts such as auto glass, bumpers, trim, and other components while ensuring proper alignment and fitment. Use hand tools and power tools effectively for sanding, shaping, cutting, and assembling vehicle panels and components. Perform automotive cosmetic repairs including sanding, detailing, and refinishing to restore vehicles to showroom quality. Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks as needed and ensure all repairs meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols during heavy lifting and the use of welding or grinding equipment. Skills Proven experience working as an automotive body technician within a dealership or independent shop environment. Strong proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, welding repair, and fabrication repair techniques. Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems, including structural components and parts installation. Expertise in auto body repair processes such as dent removal, sheet metal work, auto restoration, and auto painting. Familiarity with automotive parts installation, auto glass replacement, and automotive cosmetic repair methods. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, airless paint sprayers, and automotive welding equipment. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly about repairs and estimated timelines. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during complex repairs.
