The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto body repair and restoration, with experience in various techniques and tools necessary for high-quality vehicle maintenance. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Perform auto body repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and frame straightening. Utilize MIG welding techniques for structural repairs and fabrication tasks. Conduct vehicle maintenance and inspections to ensure safety and performance standards are met. Use hand tools, power tools, and airless paint spraying equipment for repairs and refinishing. Execute auto painting tasks with precision, ensuring a smooth finish that meets customer expectations. Carry out detailing work to restore vehicles to their original condition. Collaborate with team members to assess damage and develop repair plans based on customer needs. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repair processes and timelines. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician, preferably with dealership experience. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair and restoration. Proficiency in welding (MIG) and fabrication techniques. Familiarity with sheet metal work, soldering, assembly, and auto glass installation. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs and restorations. Experience with auto estimating processes is a plus. Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Strong communication skills for effective customer interaction and teamwork.
