Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to determine scope of repairs and necessary parts Prepare detailed, accurate repair estimates using estimating software, including auto estimating and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools Communicate clearly with customers to explain repair procedures, costs, and timelines, ensuring a positive experience Collaborate with technicians and shop management to coordinate repairs, prioritize work, and monitor progress Upsell additional services Maintain comprehensive documentation of all estimates, client interactions, and repair details in accordance with shop standards Assist with customer inquiries related to vehicle maintenance needs like vehicle servicing, service writing, or collision repairs Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive diagnostics and repairs Proven ability in auto estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients Experience in CCCone or auto service management environments is highly desirable Ability to upsell additional services confidently while maintaining integrity and customer trust Auto Body experience or background as a service writer is a plus for understanding repair processes
