Job Description

Body Shop Estimator Turn Your Automotive Experience Into a Career You Can Be Proud Of Kolosso is looking for an experienced Body Shop Estimator to join our team! If you have a strong understanding of collision repair, enjoy working with customers, and have an eye for detail, we want to talk to you. As a Body Shop Estimator, you will play a critical role in guiding customers through the repair process while ensuring accurate estimates, clear communication, and a great customer experience. What You'll Do Inspect damaged vehicles and determine the extent of repairs needed. Prepare accurate and detailed collision repair estimates. Work with customers to explain recommended repairs, timelines, and the repair process. Communicate with insurance companies, adjusters, technicians, parts personnel, and other departments. Document vehicle damage with photographs and detailed notes. Research repair procedures and ensure estimates follow manufacturer and industry guidelines. Review estimates with technicians to ensure all necessary repairs are identified. Supplement estimates when additional damage is discovered during the repair process. Monitor repair progress and communicate updates to customers and insurance partners. Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the repair process. Help ensure repairs are completed safely, correctly, and according to quality standards. Provide exceptional customer service from the initial estimate through vehicle delivery. Maintain a professional, organized, and positive work environment. What We're Looking For Previous automotive collision/body shop experience preferred. Experience writing collision repair estimates preferred. Strong understanding of vehicle construction and collision repair processes. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively with technicians, customers, insurance companies, and management. Ability to manage multiple repair orders and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable using computers and estimating software.
