Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Auto Body Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. Your expertise in automotive structural repair, auto body repair, and cosmetic refinishing will be essential in delivering exceptional results. Responsibilities Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and structural alignment using industry-standard tools and techniques. Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and other welding repair methods to restore vehicle frames and panels with precision. Conduct fabrication repairs involving sheet metal shaping, cutting, and assembly to meet exact specifications. Apply automotive cosmetic repair skills such as sanding, sanding tools, auto painting, airless paint spraying, and refinishing to achieve a flawless finish. Install automotive parts including auto glass, trim components, and other accessories while ensuring proper fitment and function. Use hand tools, power tools, and automotive welding equipment efficiently for various repair tasks. Qualifications Proven experience working as an automotive body technician or in a similar role within a dealership or collision center environment. Strong knowledge of auto body repair techniques including auto restoration, automotive structural repair, and sheet metal fabrication. Proficiency in MIG welding, welding repair, soldering, and fabrication repair techniques. Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and automotive parts installation. Experience with auto painting, automotive refinishing processes, sanding tools, and detailing for cosmetic repairs. Familiarity with automotive welding equipment Ability to work with various hand tools, power tools, airless paint sprayers, and other workshop equipment efficiently.
