In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and customizing audio, video, and electronic systems in a variety of vehicles. Your expertise will ensure each installation meets safety standards, manufacturer specifications, and customer expectations. Duties Install, modify, and troubleshoot car audio, video, navigation, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) components with precision and attention to detail Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to ensure accurate system integration Use hand tools, power tools, and automotive diagnostic tools to perform installations efficiently Conduct vehicle system diagnostics to identify electrical or mechanical issues related to audio or electronic components Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide expert advice on system options and upgrades Perform vehicle maintenance tasks such as alignment, suspension system repair, transmission system repair, and diesel engine repair as needed during installations Ensure all work complies with safety standards, manufacturer guidelines, and quality assurance protocols Experience Dealership experience or extensive background in automotive repair strongly preferred Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools in vehicle settings Familiarity with automotive wiring diagram interpretation and automotive electrical systems Experience working with GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus Knowledge of vehicle transmission systems, vehicle suspension systems, powertrain components, and vehicle maintenance procedures Previous experience with automotive diagnostics using specialized tools is highly desirable Strong customer service skills combined with technical proficiency in automotive electrical systems Embark on a career where your technical skills make a real impact!
