Full-Time | Weekend and holiday availability may be required Position Summary Cadillac Beverly Hills and Santa Monica GMC are hiring Service Porters to join our Service teams. We are looking for reliable, customer-focused individuals who take pride in providing excellent service and keeping dealership operations running smoothly. The Service Porter supports the Service Department by safely moving and maintaining vehicles, assisting customers, keeping service areas organized, and providing support to Service Advisors, technicians, and other dealership departments. This is a hands-on position that requires regular vehicle operation, attention to detail, strong organization, and a willingness to assist wherever needed. Applicants may be considered for opportunities at Cadillac Beverly Hills, Santa Monica GMC, or both locations , based on applicant preference and business needs. Key Responsibilities Safely move and park customer and dealership vehicles throughout the service drive, shop, parking areas, and designated lots. Maintain an organized service lot and ensure vehicles are parked safely and keys are properly secured. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service shop, service drive, lot, and assigned work areas. Greet customers professionally and direct or escort them to the appropriate Service Advisor. Assist customers with basic vehicle needs, including tire pressure checks and fluid top-offs, within the scope of the position. Wash and clean customer and dealership vehicles as assigned. Prepare repair orders for new and used vehicles and assist with internal service-writing functions. Access dealership and manufacturer systems to verify recall information, print PDI documentation, and assist with service workflow. Assist with compiling used-vehicle repair estimates based on technician recommendations and obtaining appropriate management approval. Communicate repair approval or denial information to technicians and Service Management. Transport vehicles to authorized offsite locations for SMOG inspections, warranty work, recalls, body work, customer needs, or other dealership business. Perform road tests when authorized to assist with diagnostics or confirmation of completed repairs. Assist Service Advisors with answering phones, scheduling appointments, and other department support when needed. Accept or process customer payments when assigned and in accordance with Company procedures. Pick up or deliver parts, tools, documents, and other authorized materials between dealership locations, vendors, or other business locations. Assist the Parts and Sales Departments with vehicle movements and transfers as needed. Promptly report accidents, vehicle damage, unsafe conditions, equipment issues, or other safety concerns to management. Follow all Company safety procedures, vehicle-operation requirements, and applicable workplace safety rules. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Valid driver's license required because regular operation and transportation of customer and dealership vehicles is an essential function of this position. Ability to safely operate a variety of dealership vehicles. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and established dealership procedures. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Professional and courteous customer-service skills. Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team. Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, which may include weekends and holidays. Physical & Work Requirements This position regularly requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, entering and exiting vehicles, and performing repetitive physical tasks. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation . Work is performed both indoors and outdoors and may involve exposure to weather conditions, vehicle exhaust, noise, automotive fluids, cleaning products, and other conditions typically found in an automotive dealership and service environment. Employees are required to follow applicable safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment.

Compensation & Benefits Hourly Pay Range:

$20.00•$23.00 per hour Actual starting pay within the stated range will be determined based on lawful, job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and business needs. Eligible employees may also be offered Company benefits in accordance with the terms and eligibility requirements of the applicable benefit plans. This is a non-exempt position and is eligible for overtime, meal periods, rest periods, and other wage-and-hour protections in accordance with applicable California law.
