About Motorpool Automotive Motorpool Automotive is seeking a Master Automotive Technician in Campbell, California, with advanced diagnostic and repair skills. This Monday-Friday position offers hourly pay plus bonuses with stated earning potential of $80,000-$150,000 per year. The shop services primarily Asian vehicles, especially Toyota and Honda products, along with domestic, European, and fleet vehicles. Technicians work in an eight-bay facility with seven lifts, an alignment rack, diagnostic equipment, and a close-knit team that emphasizes collaboration and ongoing learning. Key Responsibilities Perform advanced automotive diagnostics, including drivability and electrical diagnosis. Use scan tools and electrical testing methods to isolate faults and determine appropriate repairs. Diagnose automotive electrical systems, sensors, circuits, and related vehicle-control issues. Perform engine replacements and other major mechanical repairs. Complete general automotive repair, maintenance, and vehicle inspections. Diagnose and repair issues across engine, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, and related vehicle systems. Work primarily on Toyota and Honda products while servicing domestic, European, and fleet vehicles as needed. Document vehicle findings through the shop's established repair and inspection processes. Qualifications At least 7 years of automotive repair experience
REQUIRED
Advanced automotive diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems and the ability to perform electrical testing, including resistance testing. Experience using automotive scan tools and diagnostic equipment; the shop currently uses Autel and Snap-on equipment. Ability to diagnose and repair a broad range of vehicle systems and perform major repairs such as engine replacement. Must provide personal tools appropriate for an experienced Master/A-Level Automotive Technician. Hybrid vehicle qualifications are valued for this position. Compensation & Benefits Hourly pay plus bonuses. Stated annual earning potential of $80,000-$150,000, depending on skills and productivity; actual earnings may vary and are not guaranteed.
