General Mechanic — In-House Fleet & Warehouse Mechanic Johnson Plumbing — Design Build Contractors, Since 1962 1172 S. Lincoln Street, Colton, CA 92324
Pay:
$31.25 - $36.50 an hour
Schedule:
Full-time Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM For over 60 years, Johnson Plumbing has been a trusted design-build plumbing contractor serving California, Arizona, and Nevada. We've built our reputation on quality craftsmanship and treating our team like family. We're looking for a hands-on General Mechanic to keep our fleet running strong and our warehouse and yard organized and safe. The General Mechanic maintains and repairs the company's fleet of vehicles and equipment, keeps the warehouse and yard clean, organized, and operational, and supports the team with deliveries as needed. This is a critical, hands-on role that keeps our crews on the road and our jobsites supplied.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a mechanic, ideally with fleet, diesel, or light/medium-duty truck experience Working knowledge of engine, brake, electrical, and hydraulic systems Ability to use diagnostic equipment and hand/power tools safely and effectively Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and perform physical work in a shop and yard environment Reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently ASE certification a plus, but not required
