Applicants must be well spoken, possess a valid California driver's license with a clean DMV record and have the ability to pass a pre-employment background check. Experience is a requirement along with Los Angeles County Metro FSP certification. Drivers inspect their trucks daily, ensuring they are ready for each shift. Drivers are required to maintain a clean truck and report all damages and missing equipment. Drivers are required to maintain a professional appearance, have good communication skills, and be capable of working in a high-stress environment. Driver's will be working on the freeway assisting stranded motorists, changing tires, providing fuel, towing vehicles to a safe location off the freeway, and assisting CHP with traffic collisions and clearing debris out of lanes. Experience of 1 year minimum working as an FSP Operator for LACMTA. Must have valid FSP Certification. Seeking candidates with a clean driving record. You will be required to pass a background check and Pre-employment drug screen.
