Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, and vehicle inspections tailored for vintage models. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery safely and effectively during repairs and restorations. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems specific to classic cars. Replace or upgrade automotive electrical systems, and other specialized components as needed. Maintain detailed repair records, complete auto estimating tasks for parts and labor, and communicate clearly with customers about repair processes and timelines. Qualifications Proven dealership or automotive repair industry experience with a strong focus on classic or vintage vehicles. Extensive mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including diesel engines, transmissions, powertrain components, suspension systems, and brake repair. Skilled in automotive diagnostics using schematics and diagnostic tools Experience working with GM vehicles or similar makes is preferred but not required. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery safely and effectively. Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.
