  • 130,000+ annually Introduction We are seeking an experienced A-Level Automotive Technician in Tulare, California, for a busy, growing, family-owned repair facility. This role offers $40

The shop provides consistent workflow, modern diagnostic equipment, paid training, and a Monday-Friday schedule. Key Responsibilities Perform advanced automotive diagnostics and identify electrical, drivability, mechanical, and performance concerns. Complete high-level mechanical repairs from initial diagnosis through finished repair. Perform a Digital Vehicle Inspection (DVI) on every vehicle. Prepare repair estimates and clearly document diagnostic findings and repair recommendations. Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately troubleshoot vehicle concerns. Maintain strong productivity while delivering high-quality workmanship. Work independently while collaborating with the shop's technicians and support team. Service a diverse mix of domestic, European, Asian, light-duty diesel, fleet, commercial, and government vehicles. Qualifications 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience. Strong A-Level automotive diagnostic skills. Advanced mechanical repair experience. Proven ability to maintain productivity and quality workmanship. Strong computer skills and ability to document repair findings accurately. Ability to work independently and contribute effectively within a team. Independent repair shop experience and ASE Certifications are preferred. Compensation & Benefits $40
  • 55/hour hybrid pay structure. Hourly compensation with additional increases based on efficiency. Expected earning potential of $106,000
  • 130,000+ annually.

The shop uses Shop-Ware for management and Digital Vehicle Inspections and has an experienced Lead Technician who actively mentors and develops technicians. The facility is continuing to grow with additional service bays planned.
