Job Description Brighton Ford is seeking a motivated, entry-level or experienced Automotive Lube Technician to join our busy service team. In this role, you will perform fast-paced routine vehicle maintenance, multi-point safety inspections, and general express service care on a variety of Ford trucks, SUVs, and pre-owned models. We are looking for a hardworking professional who takes pride in accuracy, efficiency, and shop safety. Work Requirements Tools:
Basic set of automotive tools or willingness to acquire essential hand tools for routine maintenance.
Physicality:
Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout your shift in a shop environment. Ability to commute to Brighton, CO.
Responsibilities Routine Express Service:
Execute accurate, efficient engine oil and filter changes, engine air filter replacements, and cabin air filter installations.
Multi-Point Inspections:
Conduct thorough multi-point vehicle safety inspections, including tire tread depth, brake pad wear, battery health, and underhood fluid checks.
Fluid and Tire Care:
Check, flush, and top off essential vehicle fluids; perform tire rotations, balancing, pressure adjustments, and basic tire repairs.
Shop Safety and Upkeep:
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work bay while adhering to proper environmental chemical disposal protocols.
Communication:
Document all performed services accurately on repair orders and report additional recommended maintenance or safety concerns to Service Advisors.
Vehicle Handling:
Drive customer vehicles safely into work bays and return completed vehicles to designated lot staging areas. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or automotive technical training is a major plus. Previous quick lube, tire shop, or express lane experience is preferred but not required. We will train the right attitude.
