Weekend Availability Required•Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Golf Cart/Low Speed Vehicle Assembly Technician! In this energetic role, you will be instrumental in assembling high-quality electric vehicles designed for leisure and utility purposes. Your expertise will contribute to creating innovative, reliable, and efficient vehicles that delight customers and elevate their outdoor experiences. Duties Assemble golf carts and low-speed vehicles by following detailed schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions to ensure precision and quality. Use hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment such as CNC lathes and calipers to fit components accurately. Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to identify parts and assembly sequences effectively. Perform welding tasks where necessary to secure structural components, ensuring safety standards are met. Operate forklifts safely to move raw materials, assemblies, or finished products within the manufacturing area. Conduct inspections using calipers and other measurement tools to verify dimensions and alignment during assembly. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot mechanical issues, optimize assembly processes, and maintain production flow. Experience Prior experience in manufacturing or assembly environments is highly preferred, especially with mechanical systems or vehicle components. Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and understanding technical diagrams is essential. Hands-on experience with welding techniques and mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems will be advantageous. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, CNC machining equipment such as lathes or mills, and measuring instruments like calipers is desired. Mechanic experience or background in automotive or small engine repair will help ensure quality craftsmanship. Ability to operate forklifts safely with certification is a plus. Strong attention to detail combined with excellent teamwork skills will support your success in this role.
